This weekend Texas is expected to get hit hard with heavy rains, winds, and storms, but remember what they always say: "April showers bring May flowers!" In the case of the Chappell Hill Bluebonnet Festival happening on April 13th-14th, April storms will bring more bluebonnets! Check out the completely free two day festival in Chappell Hill next weekend for the greatest bluebonnet photos, the best music, and tons of great fun.
If you haven't taken your annual bluebonnet photos yet, you may have to consider stopping by this incredible free festival for the coolest photos in the vast and wonderful fields of the state flower. There will be plenty of photo ops for you, your family, and your pets to get the loveliest spring photos ever.
The Chappell Hill Bluebonnet Festival will feature 9 different local favorite musicians who will entertain their large audience after a nice long day of browsing through the marketplace and taking copious amounts of photos. The marketplace will host over 250 different arts and craft and food vendors so be sure to bring some cash and get ready to bargain!
Admission to the bluebonnet festival is completely free so if you don't have any weekend plans, you might as well head on over for gorgeous photos, great food, live music, and loads of free fun. And last year there were plenty of animals at the festival, from puppies to baby pigs and goats ready to be played with!
The festival will be open on April 13th to 14th from 9 am to 5 pm each day, perfect for optimal sunlight for those astonishing state flower photos.
