Swimming holes in Texas are amazing this time of year and we have plenty to choose from but this specific one is just too pretty to pass up. Cypress Falls Swimming Hole in Wimberley, Texas is a beautiful place to take a swim or even go for a paddle. The spring fed water has a gorgeous glimmer to it that is truly unlike any other.
While the waterfalls occurred there naturally, they were expanded bigger over the years so that more people could enjoy them over time. There is also a lodge there where people can spend the night in case you never want to leave. Rooms there start at just $90 and has everything you need for the best stay possible. You are allowed to bring your pets as long as you keep them on a leash!
There is no outside alcohol allowed but there is a bar near the falls where you can have any of your favorite cocktails and beers. If you happen to be under the age of 18, you will need to sign a waiver before joining in on the splashing good time. You are allowed to bring your own tubes and you may also fish in the water, if you bring your own equipment.
Guests often bring paddles and other water gear to add an extra layer of fun. You can also rent tubes for just $2 and small boats for $10 for the first hour then $5 for every additional hour. The falls are open every day of the week from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. from Monday through Thursday and from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on weekends. Entry to the falls is only $8 per person per day!
