The DFW metroplex has a few great amusement parks with tons of fun rides that really test your limits. Zero Gravity Thrill Amusement Park in Dallas, however, takes your fear of heights to the next level. The entire park is dedicated to rides that seem to defy gravity and send visitors to infinity and beyond.
The park has several attractions that would make any adrenaline junkie second guess themselves. Some of the more traditional thrill rides you can do include bungee jumping, but you can also go for more risky rides like Nothing But Net. The ride is a 16-story drop with no parachute or cords... just free falling into a double next system at the bottom of a 130-foot drop.
Another one of their gravity-defying rides is a giant slingshot! The Texas Blastoff takes you 150 feet into the air at a speed of zero to70 in 1.2 seconds. Of course, that alone isn't enough for this park, instead of the ride coming ride down and being over, you get to twist and turn in mid-air until you come to a stop.
Prices for the park range from $25 to $139 depending on the ride package you choose to get. The packages include rides and USB videos of all your fun. They also offer combos that allow you and a friend to purchase your tickets together so you both can pee your pants while enjoying discounted thrill rides.
Hours of operation on from Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Friday from 4 p.m. until midnight. Saturdays hours are noon to midnight and on Sunday they are open from noon to 10 p.m.
