Yesterday, Michael Buble's seemingly final interview ever with The Daily Mail spread like wildfire around the world. In the interview, Buble was asked about his career, his future plans and how life has been after his son's diagnosis.
Buble told the interviewer that he was done with social media, he had made his final record and that he was retiring, but now, his management is denying any and all rumours that the Canadian icon is retiring at all.
In the interview, Buble talked about how his life had changed after his son was diagnosed with liver cancer and that he said, "I don't have the stomach for it anymore. The celebrity narcissism." He went on to say, "This is my last interview. I'm retiring. I've made the perfect record and now I can leave at the very top."
He also stated that he would not be using any social media anymore, doing interviews or releasing music apart from his next and final album set to release in mid-November.
Well, his management team is claiming that regardless of Buble's interview with The Daily Mail, he won't be retiring and the claims that he's retiring are "completely false."
It sounds like Buble could have been joking about retirement but if so, it definitely frightened his fans. Either way, we're glad to hear that Buble is not retiring and that he'll continue to make music for years to come.
