'Mean Girls' day may have technically been yesterday, but it looks like Canadian officials are taking a page right out of the Burn Book.
Canada has just made the bold decision to completely shut the US out of an upcoming trade meeting. The meeting, which is aimed at saving the international trading system, will be held with 13 other countries.

However, according to Canada's international trade diversification minister, Jim Carr, the US just isn't "like-minded" enough with Canada and the other countries to join.
The two-day meeting will be hosted in Ottawa on October 24th. The countries will come together to brainstorm ways to reform the World Trade Organization (WTO).

In attendance along with Canada will be Australia, Brazil, Chile, the European Union, Japan, Kenya, South Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore and Switzerland.
According to Carr, the group of countries ultimately has the same goal - they want to persuade Washington to the continued use of the WTO. This is an organization that has long been ridiculed by Trump. And so, for now, the group believes talks will best be done without the US in attendance.
“We think that the best way to sequence the discussion is to start with like-minded people, and that’s whom we have invited and they’re coming,” Carr told The Canadian Press. “Those who believe that a rules-based system is in the interests of the international community will meet to come up with a consensus that we will then move out into nations who might have been more resistant.”
I think that's the politically long way of simply telling Trump, "YOU CAN'T SIT WITH US!"
