Remember when you were a kid and you'd be making cookies with your family and you couldn't stop sneaking tastes of the raw cookie dough? Even though you were told it was dangerous to eat raw eggs, nothing could stop us and even as adults we continue to do it because it's just so darn delicious!
One of the best inventions ever was edible cookie dough that takes out the raw eggs from the recipe so it's completely safe to eat. There's one company in Toronto that takes their edible cookie dough to the next level! Dough TO makes unreal edible cookie dough and they've been hosting pop-ups across the city for 2 years now and they're finally opening up an official store-front location.
One of Dough TO's first pop-ups was in Kensington Market and I still remember how insanely delicious the cookie dough was, paired with a tiny shot glass of milk to wash it down. Ever since then I've been craving their cookie dough again and now we can all get some whenever we want in the city.
Their brand new storefront location is opening up at Bathurst and Queen and you definitely won't be able to miss it because the building is painted bright pink! They haven't released the official date but their Instagram page says they'll be opening in May and we honestly can't wait. This isn't a permanent location for the company but it is going to be their longest pop-up yet, running well into fall so you have tons of time to try their delicious cookie dough this summer!
They make some insanely delicious flavours like S'mores cookie dough, Birthday Party cookie dough, Vegan Oreo cookie dough, Classic cookie dough, and even Charcoal cookie dough (which is the flavour I tried and is delicious btw.)
One of their newest and most innovative products is the cookie dough push pops which is exactly like those push pop ice creams that used to be in every corner store in the city. You can choose to enjoy your cookie dough in a cup, cone or push pop! Who knows, maybe they'll be offering something even more special at their new location...
Check out their Instagram page for updates on their opening date!
