Vancouverites are very proud of their local businesses. Especially ones that have to do with alcohol...specifically beer! Personally I prefer to drink a local beer when I travel, I like the idea of drinking something that was carefully crafted by the hands of someone who lives and breaths the city I am visiting.
Vancouver is full of culture and although it can sometimes be hard to find, these local breweries are doing something to keep that culture alive. Their off-the-beaten-path locations paired with the perfect ambiance of each brewery is sure to have you making one of them your new regular watering hole. Not to mention the beer! No matter where I travel there is nothing like a home made brew and these spots never fail to impress me.
